Appetite 4 Life Catering staff is experienced in dealing with events of all types small and large. From crab boils to seven course sit down dinners, boxed lunches for 10 to buffets and Cajun boils of a 1000. We work with a variety of clients private to corporate. In addition to conventional event-type catering A4L also has extensive experience in institutional catering.

Executive Chef Rita Alvarez graduated from culinary school in 1992 and has over 20 years’ experience. Alvarez has worked at the Perdido Resort, Water Colors in Destin, the Angus Restaurant and the Hilton on Pensacola Beach. Her time as chef at Perdido and the Hilton make Chef Alvarez uniquely qualified to handle your event. While working at these resorts Alvarez was coordinating large scale meetings, conferences and banquets. Her attention to detail on these events landed her the position of VIP Chef for the owners of the Hilton on Pensacola Beach.


 Rita was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Her mother being Spanish and father Cuban greatly influenced Rita’s pallet at an extremely early age. After graduation you could already see the influence of her rich and diverse upbringing in her focus areas of Asian Cuisine and Cajun Creole. Chef Rita's specialties are meats and sauces.

A4L's core mission is to feed terminally ill, elderly and disabled individuals. All money made on our catering events goes to fund our non-profit mission.
